  • Bioxigen sanitisation

    Purity is one of the parameters involved in air treatment applications, in addition to temperature, humidity and air velocity. For this reason Sital Klima offers the possibility to integrate Bioxigen technology inside its products thanks to the module series represented in the figure above. The modules carry out a sanitizing action of the internal volume of the air handling units, there are different sizes available and they can be included in all units marked with the green label.
    The sizing of the Bioxigen module is realized to guarantee that the unit is not going to be a polluting source, preventing in this way contamination risks and reducing maintenance/reclamation costs.
    Bioxigen is positioned inside the units close to critical areas for bacterial growth:
    filters, thus preventing the increase of pressure drop, cooling coils to counteract biofilm formation (condensate + microdust + micro organisms), humidifiers, drop eliminators, drain pan, heat exchangers, also all the surfaces of the internal components and the inner panels take advantage from the continuous sanitizing action.
    The modules are available in several models and are included in all air handling units upon request.

    This is a duct sanitization system for use in the home and industrial/commercial air conditioning ducts.

    How the Duct Sanitisation system works

    The duct sanitization system works by reducing the microbial load in the air and on surfaces which in turn reduces the spread of bacteria. It also limits the growth of mould on walls and ceilings. The unit uses tested and certified Bioxigen® technology.

    This system prevents pathogens from being carried through the air ducts in the building. This is the result of the impact ionization process; ( the condenser triggers controlled redox reactions on volatile organic compounds (VOC), thus reducing the amount of airborne pollutants)

    The oxygen ions generated in the electric field allow sanitisation in all parts of the ducts.
    Bioxigen® technology has been developed in conjunction with leading Universities and Research Institutes (University of Padova, University of Udine, Maugeri Institute, ARCHA laboratories and University of Pisa), with tests on the system’s effects

    The CTS series air handling units have been designed taking into account the evolution in building design, architecture matters and the idea to be compact AIR, meeting the increasingly restrictive requirements to fill up less room. From this standpoint the CTS series progresses, having as fundamental the criterion of less space/lower cost, while maintaining the objective to fulfill the widest range of technical-systems requirements. The CTS series units are made in compliance with the relevant European directives and are available in 16 standard sizes, from 01 to 10 with square cross-section and 11 to 16 with rectangular cross-section, covering a range of standard air flow-rates from 1000 up to 80000 m3/h.

    Eurovent Certification attests the performances of operating equipment in the air treatment industry, and also in the air conditioning and refrigeration field, in accordance with European and international standardsed based on specific requirements.

    Sustainable option: This AHUs can be upgraded to a more sustainable version.     The FEL System filter installed as standard has been specifically designed for the removal of pollutants such as grease, smoke and odours thanks to pointed collection blades that allow the capture and collection of high quantities of oily pollutants.

    Energy Saving is guaranteed as energy consumption is 3 times lower than that of a mechanical filter with equal filtration efficiency: this is mainly due to the low pressure drops almost constant over time, 64 Pa even when the filter is completely dirty. The low energy consumption of the ECOLIGHT units is also guaranteed by the use of an electronic motor instead of a belt motor.

    They are equipped with 3-stage prefiltration which is completely removable and washable. Installation of both an ionisation cell FI and an ozonation cell FX before the activated carbon provides a hygienic and antibacterial effect and at the same time reduces odours.

    The unit uses active labyrinth carbons with low pressure drops and high performance. It consists in granular coconut/bamboo carbon.
    The ECOLIGHT can be supplied to be wired or fully wired ready for use, including an electrical control panel.
    The structures are presented in self-supporting aluminum profiles, with external 25 mm sandwich panels. Their body is made up of a single block that contains all the components inside it.
    The ECOLIGHT units can be installed on the wall, on the ceiling or on the floor and are equipped with a folding, flag or removable door.

    The installer will not have to provide any drainage system since the units are equipped with a removable tray designed to collect the oil captured by the electrostatic filter.

    The PCUS regulator is a flexible regulation system for the management of numerous functions required in the heat recovery units.

    The system consists of a hardware board with digital and analogue inputs and outputs and a display connected with a 4-wire bus system that allows communication with the electronic board.

    The display can be installed in a three-module junction box (type 503) and at a maximum distance of 15 meters from the electronic boards. The cable (recommended) to be used is a shielded 4-wire cable with a section of 0.5 sqmm.

  • Heat Recovery ReVent DHRN

    DHRN units are designed for use in residential and commercial environments where the cooling is made by ceiling / wall / floor radiant systems. The DHRN A version is air-cooled, while the DHRN W version is water-cooled. DHRN units combine high efficiency heat recovery capacity to dehumidification treatment of the airflow to be supplied to the room, generally mixing of fresh air coming from outdoor and recirculated air coming from indoor cleanest rooms.

    That’s possible thanks to a pretreatment phase, whose heat transfer fluid is the water coming from radiant system that passes through a finned coil, and a later phase whose transfer fluid is the refirgerant gas that flows in a standard refrigeration circuit by compressor (the last one activated only on summer mode).

    On winter mode (compressor off), in addition to heat recovery capacity,
    the air to be supplied is also further heated by finned coil, supplied by

    Aluzink sheet metal double skin panel 15 mm thick, insulated with a polyurethane layer.
    3- or 6-row main water coil with copper tube and aluminium fins, provided with stainless steel internal drain tray.
    Possibility of further optional 2-row internal water coil.
    High pressure forward curved double inlet fan directly driven by single phase 3-speed motor; alternatively on UHPE, EC motor for higher performance and efficiency.

  • Ionisation Cell FI System

    The FI System negative ionisation cell has been created for installation inside air handling units or in air distribution ducts.

    FI is a new development in air treatment and its installation after an electrostatic or high efficiency filtration system ensures better sterilisation and reduction of odours. It has a multiple pole connection system which ensures that a number of ionisation cells can be connected at the same time, based on the air flow and filtration requirements. Ionisation cells are installed and removed by simply sliding them across the air handling unit filter frame support.

    FX System Ozonation Cell for Air Sanitisation

    The FX System Ozonation Cell is suitable for sanitisation, hygiene and disinfection. It can degrade and eliminate pollutants or harmful agents such as viruses, bacteria, mites, spores, moulds, insects and even toxic chemicals and unpleasant odours.

    It is suitable for public sector, healthcare, food and hospitality/catering premises.

    Due to its multipolar connection system, you can place multiple cells depending on the filtration demands and airflow. They are easy to assemble and disassemble: you simply need to slide them from their frame in the air handling unit. The integrated power electronic circuit comes with a LED that checks the correct operation of the filter.
